Upcoming Veterans Day ceremonies

Anamosa

Anamosa Veterans Day assembly will be held Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. in the new gym at Anamosa High School. The event is open to the public and will honor community veterans. Guests may park in the front, side, or back parking lots, or at the Lawrence Community Center, where a free shuttle will be available to and from the school. Attendees should enter through the back doors, which lead directly to the gym. Following the assembly, a luncheon for veterans and their families will be held at the Lawrence Community Center.

Midland

The Midland National Honor Society and Midland Community School District will host their annual Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 9 a.m. in the Gold Gym at Midland High School in Wyoming. The public is invited to attend the event. A Veterans Brunch will be held following the assembly.

Olin

Olin Elementary will hold its Veterans Day program on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 10 a.m. The public is invited to attend. Veterans are also invited to stay for lunch following the program. Those planning to attend the lunch are asked to RSVP by calling 319-484-2170.
