Voters choose new local leaders in Nov. 4 Election

Voters across Jones County cast ballots Nov. 4 in the regularly scheduled city and school board elections, picking municipal officials and district board members for the 2026 term.
The election, held on Nov. 4, followed the schedule adopted in 2019, which combines city and school board contests in odd-numbered years.
Although the election certification has yet to be announced, the unofficial results on the County’s election portal indicate the following key outcomes.
